The handguns in the CZ line employ 2 different primary or active safety mechanisms: the manual safety or the decocking lever. Both of these designs are good Some people hate the idea of manually lowering the hammer, but prefer DA first shot. So for those people, the decocker is perfect. Some carry I don't know if that's true or not, but it kinda steered me away from their product. My basic CZ-75 (with manual safety only) is a great 9mm pistol.I'm in the market for a concealed weapon, and right now I've narrowed down my options to either the 2075 or a Beretta PX4 sub both in the 9mm.
